Academics Information

Sunrise Christian Academy uses the Fundations curriculum, which builds a solid foundation for reading, spelling, and handwriting. SCA also uses the A.C.E. School of Tomorrow's Bible-based curriculum which allows older students the capability of instructing themselves throughout the course. There will be plenty of diagnostic testing, goal setting, and mastery of subject content throughout the school year, all with hands-on guidance of our staff. The This program has taken the conventionally styled textbook and crafted it into a course of bite-sized, achievable workbooks, and nicknamed them PACEs. These PACEs are designed to assist the students with developing moral character with lessons immersed in academic content, while also designed to develop critical thinking skills.

While you won't find these programs in your typical public school setting, these curricula are of great benefit to the students. In short, the A.C.E. Curriculum progresses at the speed and level of the child's ability and discipline, with individual help from our amazing staff. And Fundations creates a lasting foundation in phonics.

This responsibility that the students are faced with, is instrumental to their development and subject mastery, and also will be the building blocks of their academic excellence and future careers. This character training also will allow these children to prepare for, welcome, and accept challenges and future opportunities that come their way. This program will be the foundation that will be the seat of their moral values, which will prepare them for tomorrow's world, and will last a lifetime.
